Course Description
This one semester course will focus on designing and building custom wood products. It will be structured like a woodworking business and students will solicit work from the school community. They will meet with potential customers and design a product to meet their needs. Students will be required to create sketches, bill of materials, estimate hours needed to build, and create a written estimate for the customer. Students will then build and deliver the product. |

Woodworking Technology or Exploring Woodworking Skills |
Course Notes
Advanced Woodworking students will have preference in this class.
This course fulfills the four year math experience NH DOE Minimum Standards for Public School requirement. The course, however, does not fulfill the 3 credit math graduation requirement. |
